Budget Host

I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend 2014. My sister booked my room along with one for her. When I read the reviews I have to admit I was Very Worried and concerned, especially because there were many complaints in other reviews about the smell and it being run down. My sister and I were both PLEASANTLY surprised. The rooms were very nice and large and they did NOT smell. They were clean, and I am a tough one on that. I would say the beds had to be brand new, I usually don't sleep well in hotels and I almost always wake up sore But Not Here. We were both pleased with our rooms and would definitely stay there again. Also, can't say enough good about the owner. Very nice, helpful and attentive. Great place and reasonably priced :) .

The size of the rooms are what you would expect for the price but the beds are pretty comfortable and the rooms I stayed in were very clean. The owner also provides some of the best customer service you will ever experience in the hospitality industry. I would highly recommend this place to other traveling construction workers

Traveling solo and don’t like to pay for a lot of extra amenities I won’t use. Mostly needed clean safe place to shower and sleep. This Budget Host in Iron Mtn was fantastic!! Super friendly greeting from the husband half of the managing couple. Nice chit chat while doing paperwork. $69 for a single on Saturday night. Very comfortable firm, non lumpy king bed with great pillows. Entire space was perfectly clean. Powerful wall AC unit is located in bathroom and not pointing right at bed which is perfect setup to cool the room but not freeze you out. Very quiet all around. I’d happily stay here again anytime!! Excellent customer service. The Man and Woman were very talkative and polite. I was able to reserve the last room, and they waited for me, banking on only my word that I would be there. Very honest and trustworthy people who trust people's word still. There was a minor issue with the light over the bed not being fully attached, and a chair needed some minor repairs. Other than that, 70 dollars for a very warm room, soap, towels, comfortable bed. It was fantastic, especially since it was chilly outside. I was riding my V-Star 250 motorcycle across the UP for the weekend and was looking for cheap, but still cozy. Fresh hot coffee in the morning too. Thanks so much you guys for everything. Me and my family will plan to visit again!!

Cost-effective little sleep spot. Right on the edge of town. Ample parking, quiet, and fresh paint. Motel manager nice.

Why a FIVE STAR review? Because for $55 a night, it rates five stars. The rooms are oldish, but very clean, the king-size bed was comfortable (might say perfect), parking to unload and load was very convenient, but most importantly, this hotel is ONLY EIGHT MINUTES minutes from the Timber Stone golf course. Expensive golf and cheaper hotels go hand in hand, and this motel fits the bell perfectly.

For the price, this is one of the best rooms I've booked. It was very clean, well maintained, and well arranged.

Super friendly staff. Answered the phone right away and helped me out. Clean room. Hot water, heater, mini fridge, microwave, TV, couldn't ask for more especially for the price. No extra fees or deposit. Will definitely stay here when in the area next time. Beautiful family that runs the place. Very helpful and communicative. Thank you from Texas.

Simple, clean accommodations at an affordable price. Stayed for the 4th of July under new owners who we found to be very accommodating. They offered to make a price adjustment when I realized the price charged at check-in was ever so slightly more than quoted. Because it was a nominal difference ($6) and we were pleased with the room for the expense, I declined. There was an odd light on the headboard that forces you to lie down at all times and a slightly odd odor lingered in the room, but it was just fine and neither of us woke up in pain with the mattress. I will say it was probably the firmest mattress, but did not cause us issues. My husband said "I've paid more for worse experiences at a hotel".

I recently stayed at budget host during my assignment , and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The location was perfect with various amenities, which made my stay even more convenient. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, allowing me to rest and recharge after long shifts. The owners did a fantastic job keeping everything tidy and fresh.
